terms of service

these are the terms for using skweez.fit. by signing in or joining the waitlist, you are agreeing to them. we kept it short and readable. read it.

what skweez.fit is

a fitness, nutrition, and planning app. it gives you tools, suggestions, and a coach that uses ai to help you plan workouts, log meals, and run your week. it is currently in closed beta, which means features change often, occasional rough edges are expected, and we may pause or change the service while we are still building it.

not medical advice

skweez.fit is a fitness and nutrition planning tool, not a doctor, not a registered dietitian, and not a personal trainer. anything the app or the coach suggests is general guidance, not medical, dietary, or therapeutic advice. talk to a qualified professional before starting a new training program, changing your diet, or if you have any condition that could be affected by exercise or food choices. if something hurts, stop. if you think you are having a medical emergency, call emergency services.

your account

you sign in with google. you are responsible for your google account and for everything that happens under your skweez.fit account. if something looks compromised, email us and we will help shut it down. you must be at least 13 years old (16 in the european union) to use the service.

acceptable use

do not use skweez.fit to:

• harass other people, or send us abuse or threats
• upload anything illegal, sexual involving minors, or that you do not have the right to upload
• scrape, reverse engineer, or hammer the api beyond reasonable use
• resell access, share accounts, or pass beta access on for money
• try to break, defeat, or probe security controls (responsible disclosure: email us, we will work with you)

your content

the photos, chats, logs, and other content you put into skweez.fit are yours. you grant us a limited license to host and process that content only as needed to run the service for you (storing it, sending it to ai providers when you ask the coach a question, syncing it to your google calendar when you ask, and so on). we do not use your private content to train third-party foundation models.

our content

the app, the brand, the design, and the underlying code are ours. we give you a personal, revocable license to use them through the product. that license ends when your account ends.

billing

skweez.fit is free during the closed beta. we plan to introduce paid plans after launch. when paid plans launch we will email you in advance and you will have to opt in to start being charged. all payment terms (billing cycles, refunds, cancellation, taxes) will appear in the same email and on the checkout screen before you confirm.

third-party services

skweez.fit uses google for sign-in and calendar, openai and google gemini for ai features, google cloud for hosting, and a small set of email/push providers. their terms apply to their services. we are not responsible for what they do, but we choose them carefully.

changes to the service

we will add, remove, and change features as the product evolves. during beta this happens often. if we remove or significantly degrade something you actively rely on, we will give you notice when we reasonably can.

termination

you can delete your account at any time from settings, or by emailing us. we can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. when an account ends, your data is removed per the privacy policy.

warranties and liability

the service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. to the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) one hundred us dollars. we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

none of this language tries to limit liability for things that legally cannot be limited (gross negligence, willful misconduct, statutory consumer rights you can't waive, etc).

indemnification

you agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the state of california, usa, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. disputes go to the state or federal courts located in san francisco county, california, and you and we both consent to that jurisdiction.

changes to these terms

we will update this page when material things change and email account holders for anything significant. the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
