privacy policy

we built skweez.fit because juggling fitness, food, and life is hard enough without an app being weird with your data. this page lays out what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to make us delete it. plain english, no fine print games.

who we are

skweez.fit is operated as a closed-beta product. for privacy questions, email us at privacy@skweez.fit. we reply.

what we collect

account info

when you sign in with google, we receive your name, email, profile picture, and a stable user id. we do not see or store your google password. we ask for the calendar scope only when you choose to connect google calendar.

what you put in the app

• chats with the ai coach (text, photos, video)
• workouts you log, meals you log, weights, body metrics
• preferences you set (goals, gear, schedule, dietary stuff)
• recipes the app generates for you
• calendar events synced from your google calendar (read-only on our side, write-back is opt-in per event)
• wearable samples if you choose to import them
• device push tokens if you turn on push notifications

technical stuff

standard server logs (ip address, user agent, request timestamps), which we keep for a short retention window for debugging and abuse prevention. we use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

how we use it

• to actually run the product (build your plan, log your workouts, sync your calendar)
• to send notifications you opted into
• to fix bugs and prevent abuse
• to email you about your account, billing, or material changes to the service

we do not sell your personal data. we do not share it with advertisers. we do not use your private content to train third-party foundation models.

ai processing

skweez.fit uses third-party ai providers (currently openai and google gemini) to power the coach, food analysis, and image understanding. when you send a message, photo, or video to the coach, the contents are forwarded to the relevant provider so it can produce a response. we ask providers contractually to not retain or train on your inputs; you should still treat ai chats the way you would any new tool. do not share information you would not want a third party to process.

who we share with

• infrastructure providers who host the app and store your data (google cloud platform).
• ai providers for the features above (openai, google gemini).
• email and push delivery services so notifications you opted into actually arrive.
• payment processors if and when we charge you (none today; this section will name them when it happens).
• law enforcement only when legally required, and we will push back on overbroad requests.

where data lives

primarily in the united states (google cloud, us-central). if you sign up from outside the us, you are agreeing to your data being processed there.

how long we keep it

as long as your account is active. if you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we have to keep records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. backups rotate out within 90 days.

your rights

you can ask us to:

• show you a copy of the data we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your account and everything tied to it
• export your data in a machine-readable format

email privacy@skweez.fit from the email tied to your account and we will handle it within 30 days. if you are in the eu / uk / california, you have additional statutory rights and the same email gets you to the right place.

children

skweez.fit is not intended for anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the european union). if you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will remove the account.

cookies and similar tech

we use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. that is it for the marketing site today. inside the app we use local storage to remember interface preferences (last tab, theme, etc). we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

security

data in transit uses tls. data at rest uses google cloud encryption. access to production data is limited to a small number of people who need it. nothing is unhackable; we will tell you promptly if something material happens.

changes to this policy

if we change anything material, we will email account holders and update the date at the top of this page. small wording fixes do not get an email.
